Feetwarmers is the name of seven musicians from Trondheim, performing mainstream and swing music from the 1930 - 60 period. The band started in 1987 and has played in the local clubs, at Oslo Jazz festival and at the Hering Jazz in Haugesund. They have visited Heiner Festspiele in Darmstadt and Bursa International festival , and present a scarce repertoire suitable for an international audience. Feetwarmers perform jazz in the tradition of small combo bands in the 30'ies and 40'ies. Tunes played by Eddie Condon, Bobby Hackett, Louis Armstrong, Teddy Wilson, Duke Ellington and many others. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
